If you missed CUNA’s 7/28 audio conference "Requirements of the New Credit CARD Act," you can now access an archived copy of it on CUNA’s website. Representatives from the Federal Reserve, CUNA, and several credit unions discussed the first stage of revisions and possible solutions to Fed plans to implement an amendment to the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009 (Credit Card Act) that refer to compliance requirements credit unions are expected to comply with which go into effect on 8/20/09.
