A growing number of credit unions have relationships with Food Cooperatives. Some credit unions and food cooperatives share marketing efforts, but business opportunities exist between the two as well in areas such as ATM placement, affinity cards, business services, etc.

The National Cooperative Business Association is offering a 1 hour webinar to learn more about food cooperatives. The event takes place on August 13th from 12 noon - 1 PM ET and features Charli Mills from Valley Natural Foods. Charli will explain food co-ops and the current challenges and successes this sector experiences, as well as ways other co-op sectors can partner with food co-ops, which helps to further the creation of our cooperative economy
