NY Times: Better Credit Cards @ CUs

The Novmeber 10th issue of the New York Times advises consumers that they'll get the best deal on credit cards with lower rates and better treatment from credit unions. Big card issuers may provides more frills when it comes to frequent flier miles and other rewards, but consumers carrying large balances over months or years do better at credit unions, says the article. "Credit unions are nonprofit entities and are controlled by their members, which gives them a big advantage on pricing. Having a credit union's credit card in your wallet is a good option for the fed up and indebted, or for anyone who worries about needing a card to borrow someday."
