The Association is providing help to credit unions in meeting the Required Financial Literacy Training for FCU Directors mandated by NCUA. The new regulation requires directors to have a strong understanding of their credit union's balance sheet and income statement, among other things, and be able to ask pertinent questions of management.
We're providing two upcoming webinars specifically designed to comply with NCUA’s guidelines. The first is on February 15th and the second on March 3rd. Both air at 3:00 pm. More importantly, participants can either 1) participate in the live webinar or 2) register for to the archived version on-demand at any time for 6 months and also provides a CD for future use. The latter affords a convenient means to provide group education to a board when assembled for its monthly meeting or similar. The webinars are $200 each or $250 for both.
