Irene Recovery Help from Efficiency Vermont Posted by AVCU on 1:31 PM

Recovery efforts by many Vermont victims of Tropical Storm Irene will continue for quite some time. To assist, Efficiency Vermont has announced the availability of assistance to home owners and small businesses that have been affected so that as damaged appliances and hot water systems are replaced it can be done with newer more efficient units. Efficiency Vermont is also helping home owners undergoing repairs to have access to services to air seal spaces and create a plan for further energy efficiency improvement work.  Efficiency Vermont’s efforts are in coordination with FEMA and Weatherization and OEO services.
