CU Collaboration Initiative Site Announced Posted by Association of Vermont Credit Unions on 12:00 PM

CUNA introduced a new Web site for the collaboration of ideas and initiatives to discuss issues that affect credit unions and to find solutions when needed. The announcement was made during the 2012 America's Credit Union Conference taking place this week in San Diego.


Filene Institute research shows that credit unions know that collaboration can help but say they don't cooperate or collaborate more because they aren't aware of successful efforts. To that end, CUNA created a repository to collect examples of successful efforts and to find ways to encourage credit unions, leagues and credit union service organizations (CUSOs) to share their stories.


The new CU Collaboration Initiative website provides users with an opportunity to:

• join a collaboration listserv
• share information about initiatives
• read examples of interesting cooperative efforts that seem to be making a difference
• link to additional resources such as Credit Union Magazine articles and Filene studies
