According to CUNA SVP Mary Dunn, as quoted in Credit Union Times, President Obama is unlikely to appoint a replacement for NCUA Board member Gigi Hyland this year. Hyland's term expired in August of 2011. Obama's prior nominee, Carla Decker, withdrew her nomination when it was revealed that a board member of her District Government Employees Federal Credit Union was banned by NCUA for leaking records. Read the whole story here.
