Free Webinar on Proposed Same Day ACH Rule

The National Automated Clearinghouse Association (NACHA) recently proposed changes to its rules accelerating ACH settlements. Currently, most ACH payments are settled on the next business day. There are many uses of ACH payments, however, for which businesses and consumers could benefit from same-day processing. A NACHA rules change would enable ACH Originators that desire same-day processing the option to send same-day ACH transactions to accounts at any receiving financial institution (RDFI).

According to the New England Automated Clearinghouse (NEACH) this proposed rule change has a number of implications for institutions. NEACH represents New England financial institutions and votes on behalf of its members at the national level.
