NCUA Board Meets This Week Posted by Association of Vermont Credit Unions on 9:58 AM

The National Credit Union Administration has released its agenda for this Thursday's meeting of its 3-member board. Three items are included on the open portion of the agenda, including:

• a quarterly report on the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund
• consideration of the agency’s strategic plan, and
• a briefing on the 2016 mid-session budget.

Last month, NCUA board Chairman Rick Metsger announced that credit unions would have the opportunity to comment on the agency’s proposed 2017-18 budget in October.

The open portion of the meeting will begin at 10 a.m., and will be streamed live on NCUA’s website. It will be a closed session.

As a reminder, the NCUA board will not meet in August.
