Free Fed Vermont Session: Financial Rural Small Biz

The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, in partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), US Small Business Administration (SBA), USDA Rural Development and the Vermont Economic Development Authority are providing a free luncheon meeting in Montpelier, Vermont, to learn about credit enhancement and direct subordinate loan opportunities to assist businesses and community development projects.

Financing Rural Small Business: " Tools of the Trade" takes place on Wednesday, September 21st 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM (Lunch Provided) at the Capital Plaza Hotel and Conference Center in Montpelier, Vermont.

Janice Shade, Milk Money Vermont
Keynote luncheon speaker for the event is Janice Shade from Milk Money Vermont.  Milk Money is an online equity crowd funding portal that connects Vermont investors with Vermont entrepreneurs.  It helps Vermont entrepreneurs and small businesses raise capital from “Main Street” Vermont investors by using the innovative provisions contained in Vermont’s Small Business Offering exemption.  VSECU is an investor in Milk Money.
