NCUA has provided all federally insured credit unions with a "Voluntary Credit Union Self-Assessment Checklist." The checklist is a tool to help credit unions assess their diversity and inclusion policies and practices. The goal is to establish a baseline for evaluating diversity and inclusion in the credit union system. Completion of the checklist is voluntary and will not be reflected in exams or CAMEL ratings. NCUA is asking for all federally insured CUs to compete their checklist, especially if they have 100 or more employees, and return it to NCUA’s Office of Minority and Women Inclusion between Oct. 1 and Nov. 30.
