The Financial Services-Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) will conduct a free webinar on 1/12, beginning at 1:00 p.m. The FS-ISAC is an industry forum for collaboration on cybersecurity threats, and recently created a credit union council at CUNA’s request.
The free webinar is designed to explore ways FS-ISAC can help credit unions get the latest information on how FS-ISAC can provide them with services and solutions to combat cybersecurity threats.
In November 2014, the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council issued a statement recommending that “financial institutions of all sizes participate in the FS-ISAC as part of their process to identify, respond to, and mitigate cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.” CUNA continues to work with the FS-ISAC, of which it is a member, to assist credit unions in monitoring and responding to cyberthreats, as well as sharing information that could be beneficial.
