As CUNA embarks on a groundbreaking, research-based effort to grow consumer awareness of CUs as the best financial partner, CUNA Mutual Group has dedicated $1 million to help start the effort. Its contribution will support the management, ongoing consumer research, and creative content development for CUNA’s program to effectively and sustainably create an environment for credit unions to thrive and grow in an increasingly competitive financial services marketplace.
A growing number of the nation's largest credit unions are also making financial commitments to the nationwide social media awareness campaign that is planned to launch in January, 2019.
The three-year, $100 million national campaign is entitled “Open Your Eyes to a Credit Union” will be executed through a series of regional and statewide social media campaigns.
