CUNA President Bill Cheney appeared on CNBC's Closing Bell yesterday in a feature story about consumers paying off credit card debt versus mortgages. Cheney was asked for insights on delinquency among consumers, and cited the comparatively low delinquency rates and charge-offs credit unions are experiencing overall right now, vis-a-vis the overall banking industry.
