Nat'l CU Branding Site to Debut at GAC

Attendees at CUNA's upcoming Governmental Affairs Conference in DC will be the first to preview a new national branding website and locator for credit unions. "ASmarterChoice.org" is aimed at telling the credit union story to consumers-at-large and the press. It will also strive convince potential members to consider and join a credit union. The website was developed through a partnership between CUNA and state Leagues. Development costs were borne by state associations, and its services are free to all visitors.
aSmarterChoice.org features the first consolidated and comprehensive “credit union locator” directing consumers to a CU they can join with minimal hassle and no confusion. The locator includes all credit unions – regardless of charter, affiliation, size, or business model. The site will also feature good news stories about credit unions that appear in national, regional and local news media.
