10/12 Statewide Forum on PACE

on 1:26 PM

Credit unions and all interested parties are invited to attend a half day statewide forum on Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) on Saturday, October 15 from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Vermont Law School. The purpose of the meeting is to help communities who have signed up for the Quick Start program to prepare for getting an article about PACE on the town warning for the 2012 Town Meeting.

Please RSVP to Lisa Judge at ljudge@veic.org or 888-921-5990, ext. 1019. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, October 12. We cannot guarantee that space will be available after this date.

The forum will include a legislative update on changes to the PACE law, provide step-by-step guidance on how to implement PACE in your community, review efforts by Efficiency Vermont to establish a state aggregator, and provide guidance on how to organize a local campaign to get PACE approved in your community. Representatives from other communities are welcome to attend as well. We are also pleased to announce that State Treasurer Beth Pearce will be attending and speaking about the PACE program.

Please review the forum agenda for more details.  Read more about PACE.
