Does your credit union have a stellar lending program? Then be sure to submit an application to
CUNA Mutual's annual Excellence in Lending Awards, which recognize outstanding credit union lending results and best practices. The purpose of the awards is to identify, recognize and share examples of lending excellence by credit unions. The award recognizes credit unions for their ability to serve their members while sustaining sound financial performance. Credit unions demonstrating an ability to reach their members’ needs by innovative means are excellent candidates for this award. Awards are presented in these lending categories:
- Business Lending
- Consumer Lending
- Mortgage Lending
- Low/Modest Means
Winners of the awards will be announced at the annual CUNA Lending Council Conference in October, and recognized in national credit union publications. The award will pay airfare, hotel and tuition to the conference for one representative from each winning credit union.
Credit unions demonstrating innovation in lending to meet member needs are encouraged to
apply by the 9/17 deadline.
