New England CUES Annual Meeting & Education Announced Posted by Association of Vermont Credit Unions on 9:56 AM

Registration is open for a gathering of New England CUES members on October 1 and 2 in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Besides the annual membership meeting, the noon to noon event features two keynote speakers:

• Meridith Elliott Powell, a business growth expert, is an award-winning keynote speaker. She is a Master Certified Strategist, Executive Coach and Certified Speaking Professional. In her highly engaging sessions, Meridith shows her audiences how to attract more business, retain top-talent and leap into position to win in this economy.  Meridith is regularly featured in publications such as Forbes, Fast Company, Inc. Investment News, and American Banker among others. 
• David Berke is a retired U.S. Marine Corps officer, fighter pilot, ground combat leader and now a leadership instructor and speaker with Echelon Front. As a fighter pilot he deployed twice in support of combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He spent three years as an Instructor Pilot at TOPGUN, where he served as Training Officer. Upon his retirement, David started a speaker career, providing unique perspective into combat leadership, analytical decision making, risk mitigation and creating winning teams.

Other event speakers include CUNA Mutual economist Steve Rick providing an economic update, cybersecurity expert Justin Silbert addressing data protection, Sundeep Kapur of Digital Credence addressing the future of finance in light of fintechs, and  CUNA's Alex Monterrubio providing a regulatory update.
