International Credit Union (ICU) Day is on 10/15/09, with a theme of “Your Money - Your Choice - Your Credit Union.” There are 186 million credit union members around the world and ICU Day recognizes the impact credit unions are making on those members’ lives. The World Council of Credit Unions is providing free ICU Day materials for credit unions to use for the global moment. Printable resources, website graphics, informative pdf’s, coloring pages and more are available at WOCCU’s website, WOCCU has also created the “Small Change… Big Difference” collection box campaign to help reduce global poverty. Contributions to these boxes enable WOCCU to afford millions worldwide the chance to enjoy a stable financial provider through the credit union movement in impoverished areas.
