Former VT Exec Takes Helm of $289m Illinois CU

As reported by CU Journal, on July 8th Kelly McDonough will take over as president and chief executive officer of the $289 million-asset Earthmover Credit Union in Oswego, Illinois. 

McDonough formerly held senior management positions at Vermont Federal Credit Union and New England Federal Credit Union.  Since then, her most recent position was at Glacier Hills Credit Union, a $139 million credit union in West Bend, Wisconsin, which she led as CEO since 2017. Before that, she was the CEO of First Alliance Credit Union, a $198 million-asset institution based in Rochester, Minn., for 13 years.

Earthmover Credit Union is privately insured.  It had net income of about $991,000 in the first quarter of 2019 and recorded net income of $3.95 million in 2018, a 2% increase over 2017.
