Callahan & Associates and CreditUnions.com have recently posted second quarter 2009 figures for the credit union movement across the country. Credit union industry data from June 2009 as it compares to June of 2008 is available, with key figures for 2009 including the following:

• Total assets: $882.4 billion;
• Total members: 91.0 million;
• Share growth: 8.45 percent;
• Loan growth: 4.13 percent.
